It took quite a bit longer than anticipated as work has been hectic but we’ve finally got a final album compiled on Snapfish of the Europe trip.  My apologies for the long wait, hopefully it was worth it.

Since we’ve been back we’ve been doing some fun, local wandering as well.  We took my dad kayaking for Father’s Day.  It was a beautiful day on the Colorado River.  We were outfitted by Rising Phoenix who I sourced in a story I wrote back at the ABJ on tourism in Bastrop.  Bastrop has really grown and changed in the years since I’ve ventured east of Austin.

Yesterday we went ziplining out in Wimberly and had an awesome time.  Bear in mind that I am afraid of heights but it’s my policy to confront such irrational behavior as often as is possible.  Soaring 100 feet high acorss hill country canyons with 15 mile views was the best way I can think of do so.  An amazing adventure everyone should try at least once.

I’ve got pictures from both trips to post soon as well as additional commentary.

That’s all for now, folks.
